“It is all about the kids.”

This has been my philosophy as I began in a fifth grade classroom many years ago.  It was the driving force for me to be a stay-at-home mom for nine years and then back to the classroom as my two children were school-age.  I loved my twelve years of teaching third grade, but felt an urging to do more for more children.

I am grateful to be in my fifth year as assistant principal, with my scope of influence reaching over six hundred students.  Our teachers are dedicated and work diligently to teach using curriculum maps, benchmark assessments and online grade books.  The RTPO as well as the entire support staff makes our school a great place to be.
