It’s All About Learning!
We know that learning occurs through personal awareness. It’s a process of inquiry and is most effective when people collaborate with others (peers and adults). Thus, learning is a social and personal process. Learning is at its best when we take charge of our own education. Learning is maximized when connections are made to our own experiences. Finally, learning is a reflective practice. We must evaluate our interest in learning.
Hubbard Middle School’s staff, students, and administration take learning seriously. Learning is our business. We expect Hubbard Middle School students to give their best effort in and out of the classroom. We expect all students to personally grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Our administration and staff are devoted to providing safe learning environments that cultivate student responses, opinions, and ideas. We are also committed to providing a balanced curriculum that permits students to experience literacy, mathematics, science, social science, the fine arts, technology, physical exercise, and life skills.
Hubbard Middle School students are expected to treat everyone with respect, be prepared for school and, most importantly, engage themselves in the learning process. Leaning is personal, social, collaborative, and reflective; therefore, Hubbard Middle School is all about learning.
