Hubbard Athletics

It is my honor to welcome everyone to the 2019-2020 Hubbard athletic season!

This is our first full year competing in the Northeast 8 Conference (NE8), and it should be a competitive and action-packed conference for all of our teams.  The NE8 includes Girard, Hubbard, Jefferson, Lakeview, Niles, Poland, South Range, and Struthers.

Thank you to all stakeholders and booster groups for allowing our student-athletes to receive first class facilities and treatment in their quest for athletic greatness.

The 2018-2019 school year was a tremendous year for the athletic department, and through the work and dedication of our coaches and student-athletes, the 2019-2020 school year will be another strong year in the great tradition of Hubbard Athletics.

I would like to personally wish all of our student-athletes a successful year in the classroom and in their athletic pursuits.  A special thanks to the band and the cheerleaders who spend countless hours perfecting their performances and cheering on all of our teams. Lastly, Hubbard High School is lucky to have a national award-winning Hubbard Eagle Mascot, Issac Powell, who brings a smile to everyone’s face at many sporting and community events.

As someone who grew up as an Eagle, not only attending athletic events as a kid, but also as a Hubbard student athlete in high school, I am excited to be the leader of Hubbard Athletics and continue the great traditions of being an Eagle.

Go Eagles!

The Hubbard Athletic Department is looking for any Hubbard High School Alums who participated in athletics during their time at HHS!  Please take a few minutes to fill out the form found at this link below:

We are doing this so that we can stay in better contact with our alumni and for a few projects we are working on in the long range. This will help us to stay better connected with you!  Please give us some time as we build up our database.  And spread the word that we are looking for our fellow Eagles!

All sports physicals are done through the website called privit (look under Athletics Home). Parents - please fill out the forms online - print out the packet - then take to your physician. The old paper forms are no longer considered the standard of care by the OHSAA. The Athletic Department can no longer accept any old paper forms due to them no longer meeting the OHSAA requirements.

Privit Profile™

We are excited to introduce a new and easier process for completing the health history forms required before sport participation, called Privit Profile™ (formerly known as e-PPE, electronic Pre-Participation Evaluation). Privit Profile™ replaces the paper-based forms with an electronic solution for submitting and managing health information. Privit Profile™ is compliant with international privacy laws, including HIPAA and COPPA, ensuring your child’s information is secure.

Privit Profile™ helps increase the health and safety of athletes, and enhance the security and accessibility of the health information when needed.

The three major benefits of using Privit Profile™ are:

1. Simplifies the pre-participation process - Paper to Privit Profile™

  • Easy to complete the health history and all other forms on any smart phone, tablet, or computer.

  • Review/Complete/Update the information at anytime.

2. Improves Athlete Safety and Reduces Risks

  • Comprehensive health history pinpointing any factors that might contribute to injury.

  • Real time health information available on the sidelines.

3. Ensures Privacy and Availability of any Athlete's Health Information

  • Accessible to only parents/guardians and authorized school personnel.

  • Parents/Guardians and athletes can use completed information for other activities/organizations.

By using Privit Profile™ to manage your child’s health history information, the biggest benefit will be in subsequent years because you will only have to update the information in Privit Profile™ as opposed to completing all the paper-based forms again.

Click here, for step-by-step instructions explaining how to access Privit Profile™.

If you have any questions regarding Privit Profile™, please contact your school/organization or PRIVIT Help Center, at 844-234-4357, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
