POSITION: The Hubbard Exempted Village School District announces the following Administrative

vacancy for the 2023-2024 school year:

Assistant Principal: Hubbard Campus K-8


SALARY: Based on Certificated Administrators Salary Factoring System, 210 days per year


DEADLINE: Until filled


QUALIFICATIONS:

· Successful administrative experience preferred

· Must possess a documented history of successful experience as a teacher, supervisor, or

administrator

· Must possess a valid Ohio Department of Education Principal License/Certificate appropriate

for the position

· Must be OTES 2.0 credentialed before the start of 2023-2024 school year

· Must provide a successful BCII/FBI background check

· Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate the mission and goals of

the school district in a 21st century learning environment

· Demonstrated knowledge in curriculum development, an understanding of the academic

content standards, student assessment, student intervention and professional development

· Demonstrated leadership with building level teams (B.L.T) and Ohio Improvement Process

(O.I.P.) as well as analyzing a wide variety of building level data

· Demonstrated familiarity with online testing protocols and supporting the integration of

technology in instruction

· Must possess the ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents,

community members, and personnel


Educational and Instructional Leadership:

· Collaboratively establishes explicit goals for the school and creates long-range planning to

achieve goals

· Possess familiarity with school improvement strategies

· Ability to foster a positive school climate, with a strong sense of academic mission, and with

high expectations conveyed to students and staff

· Ability to motivate staff to maximum performance in instruction and management

· Ability to develop a realistic and objective system of accountability for learning

· Ability to implement evaluation of staff according to state law bargaining agreements

· Ability to collaboratively develop and implement a professional development program

· Possess knowledge and proficiency in technology integration for instructional purposes

· Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement innovative program options/ instructional practices

that support diverse learning needs of students

· Ability to support school and community events through participation and visibility

· Possess a commitment to ongoing skill attainment


Educational and Instructional Leadership:

· Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers and function as part of a cohesive

team

· Ability to develop, appropriate, and manage budgets

· Ability to implement Board policies, district administrative practices, and state laws and

regulations

· Ability to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of students

· Ability to maintain standards of student discipline that provide for a safe school environment

that is conducive to learning

· Ability to supervise the preparation of all school reports and student records; familiarity with

Ohio reporting and the role of information technology in educational administration
