CCP Information: Current sophomores and juniors that are interested in taking College Credit Plus courses NEXT year must have the qualifying ACT scores to be eligible for the program. The February ACT date is the LAST test date that can be used for CCP qualification. That means that you have the October, December and February ACT test dates. It is your responsibility to get signed up for the ACT by the registration deadline.
Sophomores: Youth Leadership Mahoning Valley is now accepting applications for the leadership program. If you have the potential for great leadership and would like to apply, please pick up an application from Mrs. Hinkle in the guidance office. Completed applications are due to the guidance office by Wednesday, Oct. 31. There is a tuition fee of $200 in order to participate in the program.
In an effort to effectively hear concerns of the student body, Student Council has placed "Student Concern" cans in each of the English classrooms. Please fill out one of the provided forms and place it into the can. Appropriate concerns will be discussed by Student Council members on a bi-weekly basis and then taken to Ms. Yobe during our monthly Student Advisory meetings. Thank you. (McCleery)
Sophomores interested in attending Career Day at the TCTC in January - must sign-up on the TCTC website. Questions see your guidance counselor. (Carsone)
Rotary Interact will meet on Thursday, November 1st from 2:30-3pm and then deliver the Weekend Buddies Food Bundles from 3-3:30 that day. Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 8th from 4:30-8pm for the annual Rotary Auction; service to our sponsoring club is expected. We will sign up for shifts for that night. There will be a brief Ecology Club meeting Friday November 2nd after school in room 211. All members must attend. (I. Pizanias)
Attention all Spanish Club Members who will be attending the Spanish Club Field Trip. The Field Trip will take place on Thursday, Nov. 1st from 10:15 to 1:30. Please be sure to request make-up work from the classes that you’ll be missing. ((Badurik)
