CCP Information: Current sophomores and juniors that are interested in taking College Credit Plus courses NEXT year must have the qualifying ACT scores to be eligible for the program. The February ACT date is the LAST test date that can be used for CCP qualification. That means that you have the December and February ACT test dates. It is your responsibility to get signed up for the ACT by the registration deadline.

Sophomores interested in attending Career Day at the TCTC in January - must sign-up on the TCTC website. Questions see your guidance counselor. (Carsone)

Seniors - be sure you are checking the FAFSA and scholarship deadlines for the schools you are applying to! (Carsone)

New Castle School of Trades Scholarship Day will be March 9. Registration is at 9:30 am, and testing is at 10:00 am. You must RSVP by March 4 in order to participate - call 1-800-837-8299. Scholarship Day will be held at the New Castle campus - 4117 Pulaski Road New Castle, PA 16101

Juniors: There will be a brief meeting on Friday, December 14 at 2:30 in the media center for juniors interested in Buckeye Boys and Girls State. This is a GREAT leadership and service opportunity!! Come to the meeting and check it out. (Haidaris)

ACT Supercourse Test Prep is at Ursuline Center - 4280 Shields Road - Canfield, 44406. Course meets 5 Sundays between Jan 6 and Feb 17 from 11 am to 1:45 pm. Test prep for the April national test. Cost $199 - $224 (depending on class size). Call 330-755-2710 to register. (Haidaris)

Attention Seniors: The orders for Caps & Gowns at the price they are now are due this Friday, December 14th. After the 14th the cost of your Cap & Gown will go from $30.83 to $42.90. The cost will again increase closer to Graduation. Please order online (jostens.com), by mail, or call the office at 330-877-4700.

Teachers, Staff, & Students: The library media center staff is clearing out shelf space to make room for new materials. We have MANY fiction and non-fiction books that we have discarded from our collection. These books are located in the storage room in the HS Media Center. We would like to give these books away for FREE before Christmas break. Please come take as many books as you would like. Students-- please check in with Mrs. Reuff, so she knows that you are in the storage room. We have boxes and bags available for you, if you plan to take a lot of books. Happy Reading! (Phiel)
