Hubbard Middle School student Nate Reel has been named winner of the Trumbull County Bar Association’s Law Day contest amongst seventh grade students. In celebration of Law Week, the Trumbull County Bar Association hosted the contest. This year’s theme was “Toward A More Perfect Union”. Students throughout the county who participated in the contest were asked to craft essays that proposed a Constitutional amendment that would unite people. Reel decided on an amendment that would not exclude people who did not have access to the internet or smartphones. For his win, Reel will receive a $100 cash prize and be presented a First Place Winer’s Certificate at the Law Day Luncheon on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
