Hubbard students participate in local Tuba Christmas event

The first Tuba Christmas was held at New York City's Rockefeller Plaza Ice Rink on Sunday, December 22, 1974.   Since then, hundreds of cities around the nation have hosted their own version of this event. On Sunday, December 1, 2019, Stambaugh Auditorium hosted Youngstown's version of Tuba Christmas. Hubbard Schools was represented with students from both our high school and middle school along with a few proud Hubbard alumni. Over 100 tuba players from around the area were on the stage performing various Christmas carols.
