Hubbard High School junior Jackson Corbett recently completed his Eagle Scout project by transforming part of the high school's outdoor science lab into a native wildflower garden.
Completed on May 10, the "Project Prairie Garden" was a team effort, with help from the Hubbard High School Ecology Club, Boy Scout Troop 3 and support from family and friends. Corbett led the group as they prepared the site, added topsoil, planted native species and mulched the area to finish.
Special thanks to Executive Landscaping and Colonial Gardens for donating materials, and to Dave Logan and his team for guiding the project’s design.
