new principal

Hubbard Schools is excited to welcome Sarah Herrholtz as the district’s new K-8 assistant principal.

This school year will mark Mrs. Herrholtz’s 21st year in public education. She spent 17 years as a high school art teacher before serving as a district administrator with Struthers City Schools for three years as K-12 Director of Student Achievement. In that role, she led family engagement efforts, supported PBIS and mentoring opportunities, developed programming for English Language Learners, and coordinated data meetings with teachers to create strategies for student growth.

A 1999 graduate of Hubbard High School, Mrs. Herrholtz is proud to return to her alma mater in this leadership role. She and her husband, Kevin Herrholtz, a 1997 Hubbard graduate, live in Hubbard with their two children – Casey, a ninth grader, and Norah, a fifth grader. As a family, they enjoy staying active in the Hubbard community—spending time in the parks, supporting athletics and visiting local businesses.

“I’m excited about working with teachers and students and hope to continue the tradition of Hubbard Pride,” said Mrs. Herrholtz.
