Students from Hubbard High School’s band and art programs recently traveled to Chicago for a multi-day educational trip filled with hands-on learning experiences across the city.
During the trip, students participated in a marching band clinic at Northwestern University, toured the city during the Untouchables guided bus tour, visited the Museum of Science and Industry, explored the Chicago Art Museum, and stopped at well-known landmarks including Navy Pier, “The Bean,” and the John Hancock Observation Deck.
Students also attended a performance of the Broadway musical Hamilton and visited Lincoln Park Zoo before returning home.
Teachers and chaperones said the trip provided students with opportunities to experience music, theatre, art, history, engineering, and culture outside of the classroom while representing Hubbard with pride throughout the trip!
