The Eagle Joint Fire Department helped Santa make a grand arrival at Hubbard Elementary School! Students lined the sidewalks, cheering as the fire truck brought Santa right to our front door. With help from our amazing HEPA volunteers, Santa spread holiday cheer by visiting every kindergarten student and stopping by each classroom to say hello. What an unforgettable day for Stanley, a 3rd grader at Hubbard Elementary, who was the lucky winner of an Amari Cooper signed football! 🏈 Stanley's name was drawn from 2,500 student entries, all representing students with at least a 97% attendance rate. As luck would have it, the drawing happened on Stanley's birthday! To make the moment even more special, Stanley's dad came to school to surprise him and ensure his football got home safely! #StayintheGame #AttendanceMatters

Our fifth and sixth-grade students took math out of the classroom and into the kitchen! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳🍪 By measuring, mixing and baking cookies, they got hands-on experience applying their fractions skills in a sweet way!. From half cups of sugar to quarter teaspoons of salt, every ingredient helped bring math to life. Our Hubbard Elementary students are helping to spread holiday cheer at City Hall this holiday! ❄️ Snowflakes: Our third and fourth graders worked with Mrs. Smiley in STEM to learn about symmetry, while in art Mrs. Marino taught a unique snowflake-making technique that the students loved! 🎄 Paper Chains: K-2 students explored patterning to create colorful chains to add to the holiday decorations. A huge thank you to Mrs. Smiley and Mrs. Marino for working together on this project—and to our students for their creativity and hard work!
