Hubbard’s second grade students recently traveled to Harding Park to take part in the district’s annual Second Grade Science Day.
During the event, students rotated through a variety of science stations led by members of Hubbard High School’s Ecology Club. Using pre-prepared lab packets, students participated in hands-on activities and explored different scientific concepts through experiments and demonstrations.
The event gives younger students an opportunity to learn science outside of the classroom while working directly with high school student leaders.
The district has organized Second Grade Science Day for the past 24 years!
