The Hubbard Middle School Rocket League Esports Team is officially state bound. The team, made up of 7th and 8th graders, placed 3rd in the regional playoffs to earn a spot at the Ohio Middle School Esports State Tournament. 🎮
They will compete on Saturday, March 14 in Canton, Ohio. Congratulations to the team on a strong season, and best of luck at states!

What a special day for our Eagles! 🏀
Students and staff from Hubbard High School traveled to Fairhaven for the annual basketball game! Our players, band members, cheerleaders and supporters were all on hand to bring the energy and encouragement.

We are proud of Drake Hahn, Shawn McFadden, Hunter Tomory and Jaxon Wagner for representing Hubbard Middle School at the regional MATHCOUNTS competition. Competing against top area teams, HMS placed 5th overall in the Sprint, Target and Team rounds. Special congratulations to Jaxon Wagner, who earned 14th place individually in the Countdown head-to-head bracket round!

Congratulations to our Boys Bridge Building Team for earning 2nd place at Youngstown State University for being closest to the target weight! What an impressive display of precision, teamwork and engineering skills! We also want to give a shoutout to our Girls Bridge Building Team for competing and representing our school.
What a turn out for our HEPA Family BINGO Night! Our K-1 students played from 5:00–6:30, followed by 2nd–4th graders from 7:00–8:30. Every BINGO winner chose a Squishmallow prize, and families enjoyed raffle drawings and concessions throughout the evening! Thank you to everyone who joined us for another fantastic event!

Dana Capezzuto’s 2nd grade class just wrapped up their CKLA human body unit in the best way, pretend surgery! Students donned doctor caps and gowns and put their learning to the test. A special shout-out to Dr. Geisler (aka “Dad” to two lucky students in Mrs. Capezzuto’s class!) for stopping by to share what it’s really like to be a doctor. Prior to our holiday break, our Future Educators of America students wrote letters to their favorite Hubbard teachers and delivered them during homeroom. A simple act that went a long way in showing appreciation!
