We’re looking for caring, reliable individuals to safely transport our students to and from school and activities.

Position: School Bus Drivers & Substitute Bus Drivers
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4 hours of driving per day
Salary: In accordance with the OAPSE negotiated contract
*Field trips driven on non-scheduled workdays will be compensated at time-and-a-half.

What We Offer
Training — no experience required!
Summers, evenings, weekends and holidays off!

Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check & drug screening
Current Physical
Class B CDL License with school bus & passenger endorsements (we’ll help you get it if you don’t have one!)

📱Updated Student Cell Phone Policy – Hubbard Schools 📱

Hubbard Schools has updated its Student Cell Phone/Wearable Technology Policy to align with new state law.

Key Points:
- Applies to all students during school hours on school property.
- Use is prohibited during school hours except for medical needs or as part of an IEP/504 plan.
- Storage:
Best: locked locker
On your person: must remain out of sight in lunch, study hall, hallways, restrooms, media center, band/choir
In class: must use designated phone pouches

Our maintenance department is hard at work this summer! Over the next several weeks, they’ll be cleaning and prepping every inch of our buildings to make sure everything is ready for our students’ return. And it’s not just our buildings—our transportation department is also busy getting our buses in top shape! They’re deep-cleaning, touching up paint, replacing tires, doing light body work, and completing overall repairs to prepare for annual inspections in July and to be ready for students this August! Mr. Stoffer’s CCP U.S. Government and U.S. Government classes recently wrapped up a stock market competition! Students worked solo or in small groups, investing $250,000 (virtual money, of course!) in 4–10 companies. Throughout the school year, they recalculated, bought, and sold stocks—and with just one month left, they received a surprise $100,000 to shake things up! Junior Brody Eckard recently approached elementary principal Mr. Marcello with a meaningful idea —grilling hot dogs for elementary students on the last day of school, inspired by a favorite memory from his own elementary days when then-principal, now-superintendent Mr. Soloman did the same! Mr. Marcello agreed—with one condition: Brody had to help after finals. Our fifth and sixth grade students finished the school year with a week full of games and challenges that put their math and problem-solving skills to work. They played board games, completed STEM challenges, and competed in relay races—all while practicing analytical and statistical thinking. The week wrapped up with a Rock Paper Scissors Tournament. Each class had a winner, who advanced to the final round in the gym.
