There has been an adjustment to the 2025–2026 school calendar for the last day of school, Friday, May 22, 2026. Students will be dismissed early on this day.

Early release times are as follows:
Middle School / High School: 12:22 p.m.
Elementary School: 1:05 p.m.

Please plan accordingly for transportation and after-school arrangements.

The Nest Cafe would like to thank everyone who showed up last week to make the release of our St. Patrick’s Day drinks such a success, and apologize to those who didn’t get a chance to purchase one. We will be open again this Wednesday, March 25, and will be featuring the St. Patrick’s Day themed drinks one more time.

For $3 you can try:

A Hot Shamrock Coco - A mint flavored hot chocolate
Or a Cold Leprechaun Delight - Our spin on a shamrock shake with white chocolate and mint

Prom ticket sales for 2026 will take place through March 27. Students may purchase tickets during all lunch periods or after school in Room ES 144, located next to the shared Media Center. After-school sales will be available daily until 3:15 p.m.

The cost of each ticket is $65.00. Students who participated in the sophomore candy bar fundraiser will have their contribution on record, and the price of one ticket will be adjusted accordingly.

Students planning to bring a guest from another school must complete a Guest Permission Form. This form must be filled out, submitted, and signed by Miss Yobe prior to purchasing tickets. To request a Guest Permission Form, please contact smileym@hubbard.k12.oh.us. For any additional questions or information, students are encouraged to reach out via the same email address.

Students in Irene Pizanias’ Anatomy class had a hands-on learning experience this week as they conducted frog dissections. The activity gave students the opportunity to explore anatomy in a real-world way, helping them better understand body systems, organ structure and how different systems work together. 🐸

Join us tonight from 5:30–7:30 p.m. in the Hubbard Auditorium for a Family Movie Night hosted by the Hubbard High School National Honor Society as part of their community outreach efforts.

Elementary-aged students and their families are invited to enjoy a showing of Inside Out in a sensory-friendly environment. Activity centers will also be available in the adjacent gymnasium for students who want to move around or take part in other activities!

This event is free, and all students must be accompanied by an adult.

We hope to see families there for a fun evening together! 🍿

☕ The Nest Café is back again! 🦅

Students in the Entrepreneurship class at Hubbard High School, led by Mike Maietta, are reopening The Nest Café on Wednesday. The student-run coffee shop will offer coffee drinks and breakfast items to Hubbard High School staff and students. The Nest Café gives students real-world experience in running a business, from marketing and inventory to customer service and sales!

Congratulations to Kayla Welsh, Hubbard Schools’ nominee for the Mahoning Valley Educator of the Year Awards! Kayla is in her seventh year at Hubbard High School, where she serves as a Intervention Specialist, making a lasting impact on students every day.
