Hubbard High School junior Jackson Corbett recently completed his Eagle Scout project by transforming part of the school's Outdoor Science Lab into a native wildflower garden. Completed on May 10, the "Project Prairie Garden" was a team effort, with help from the Hubbard High School Ecology Club, Boy Scout Troop 3 and support from family and friends. Corbett led the group as they prepared the site, added topsoil, planted native species and mulched the area to finish. Special thanks to Executive Landscaping and Colonial Gardens for donating materials, and to Dave Logan and his team for guiding the project’s design.

Hubbard High School students had the unique opportunity to learn about the legislative process during a visit from State Representative Lauren McNally on Friday. Hubbard High School sophomore Cooper Vail was selected as Ohio’s representative for the Epilepsy Foundation’s Teens Speak Up program! In March, he traveled to Washington, D.C. to connect with other teens, attend leadership workshops and advocate for seizure-safe schools. While in D.C., Cooper met with Senator Husted’s Office, Rep. David Joyce’s Office, and Epilepsy Foundation CEO Bernice Martin Lee. Cooper is now working on 100 hours of community service, including plans to host a local epilepsy awareness walk! #HubbardPride #TeensSpeakUp #EpilepsyAwareness

Powderpuff football is back! Join us on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Hubbard Memorial Stadium for a night of fun and friendly competition! Game 1: Freshmen vs. Juniors Game 2: Sophomores vs. Seniors Game 3: Championship Match Gates open at 5:30 PM, and games will begin at 6 PM. There is a $5 entrance fee. The games are open to all students, families and the community! We will also have the concession stand open!
