10. Approved the PRELIMINARY DRAFT of the 2023-2024 HEVSD School Calendar, for the final
reading and adoption at the March 13, 2023 board meeting.
11. Accepted, with regret, the resignation of Kim Democko, HES Paraprofessional, for the purpose of
retirement, effective June 1, 2023.
12. Accepted the resignation of Brian Vaupel from employment with the Board of Education effective
end of business day on June 30, 2023, pursuant to the agreement reached with the Board of
Education.
13. Accepted, with regret, the resignation of Jennie Bechtel, Daily Building Substitute, effective
immediately.
14. Approved a one-year limited contract for Andrea Hodge, HES Paraprofessional, Step 1, 6.5 hours
per day, effective for the 2023-2024 school year, as per the posting dated February 3, 2023, as
per OAPSE negotiated agreement.
15. Approved an unpaid leave for April Dunkerley, HES Paraprofessional, effective February 6, 2023, as
per OAPSE negotiated agreement.
16. Approved the following contract modification for Mariah Watson, from BA Step 5 to a Master’s
Step 5, effective for the 2022-2023 school year, as per HEA negotiated agreement.
17. Approved Eastern Gateway Community College Memorandum of Understanding for Dual Credit,
for the 2023-2024 school year, as submitted.
18. Approved Kent State University Memorandum of Understanding for College Credit Plus, for the
2023-2024 school year, as submitted.
19. Approved Youngstown State University Memorandum of Understanding for College Credit Plus, for
the 2023-2024 school year, as submitted.
20. Approved Landon Ayersman to be part of the graduating Class of 2024, per board policy 5464.
21. Approved the following, as the Spring Stage Managers for the spring musical for the 2022-2023
school year, as per HEA negotiated agreement.
