BOARD SUMMARY MARCH 27, 2017 HUBBARD EXEMPTED VILLAGE SCHOOL DISTRICT 1. Approved the financial reports for the month of February 2017. Financial Summary, SM-2, Check Register, Bank Reconciliation 2. Approved the following board meeting minutes: February 21, 2017 Regular Meeting 3. Accepted, with gratitude, the following donation: Dr. Braydich $6,000 to Hubbard Baseball Facility Campaign Mr. & Mrs. Anthony Guarnieri $500 to HHS Woodshop Home Savings Charitable Fund $1,500.00 to Robotics 4. Approved Resolution #17-16: Accepting the amount and rates as determined by the Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the county Auditor for fiscal year 2017-2018, as submitted. 5. Removed the following buses from inventory and take bids for scrap: 1986 Ford Bus 1FDWJ74NXGVA15118 Inv #03263 1987 Ford Bus 1FDXJ75A9HVA61542 Inv #03240 6. Approved resolution # 17-17 authorizing the Ohio Schools Council to advertise and receive bids on behalf of the HEVSD Board as per the specifications submitted for the cooperative purchase of one - 71 passenger conventional school bus chassis and body. 7. Approved to enter into a contract with Top Driver Ohio, to provide drivers education to Hubbard High School through June 30, 2018. 8. Approved the second reading and adoption of the HEVSD 2017-2018 Calendar, as submitted, as per ORC Section 3313.48(B). 9. Approved an unpaid leave of absence for Monica Motok, bus driver, effective February 16, 2017, as per OAPSE negotiated agreement. 10. Approved Noah Johns, lifeguard, effective March 27, 2017 @ $8.90/hr. 11. Approved a contract modification for Laura Stoneburner, Cook, from 3.5 hrs. per day Step 2, to 4.0 hrs. per day, Step 2, effective March 9, 2017 through June 30, 2017. 12. Approved a pro-rated one year limited contract to Marcee Keeler, Cook, 4.0 hrs. per day, Step 0, effective March 27, 2017 through June 30, 2017. 13. Accepted, with regret, the resignation of Rosemary Walsh, Guidance/Athletic Secretary, for the purpose of retirement, effective July 1, 2017, as per OAPSE negotiated agreement. 14. Accepted, with regret, the resignation of Debora Branch, Paraprofessional, for the purpose of retirement, effective June 1, 2017, as per OAPSE negotiated agreement. 15. Approved the following Pool personnel adjustments effective March 20, 2017: Chrissy Ellis from day time secretary @$11.15/hr. to night-time secretary @$8.90/hr. Darla Evans from night-time secretary @$8.90/hr. to day-time secretary @$11.15/hr. 16. Approved a Master Agreement between Youngstown State University and Hubbard Exempted Village School District regarding College Credit Plus, commencing at the start of the 2017-2018 school year, as submitted. 17. Approved the following coaches for the 2017-2018 season: *All coaches are subject to all required certifications Girls Soccer Carly Cicero J.V. Approved a pro-rated one year limited contract to Gary Goodrick, 8.0 hour custodian, outside maintenance, Step 0, effective March 6, 2017 through June 30, 2017, as per OAPSE negotiated agreement. 27. Approved a pro-rated contract modification for Debra Paris, from Cleaner 8.0 hours Step 8, to Custodian, high school, 8.0 hours Step 8, effective March 6, 2017 through June 30, 2017, as per OAPSE negotiated agreement.
