CCP Information: Current sophomores and juniors that are interested in taking College Credit Plus courses NEXT year must have the qualifying ACT scores to be eligible for the program. The February ACT date is the LAST test date that can be used for CCP qualification. That means that you have the December and February ACT test dates. It is your responsibility to get signed up for the ACT by the registration deadline.
Sophomores interested in attending Career Day at the TCTC in January - must sign-up on the TCTC website. Questions see your guidance counselor. (Carsone)
Seniors - be sure you are checking the FAFSA and scholarship deadlines for the schools you are applying to! (Carsone)
Seniors: The YSU Mahoning Valley Powers scholarship application is now available. This scholarship is for students that will be attending YSU next year who have significant financial need and at least a current 2.5 GPA. Applications are available in the guidance office or on the guidance website under scholarship board. Applications are due to YSU by December 1, 2018 -- It is your responsibility to return the scholarship to YSU by the deadline. (Haidaris)
With the winter season here, it’s that time of the year to help those in need. The future educators of America are sponsoring a coat drive this week and are looking for any new or gently worn coats to donate to the Youngstown rescue mission. Coats will be collected in the large labeled box near the main office. Thursday after school there will
also be an evening drop off in the high school cafeteria. Our goal is 200 coats so please help support our mission. If you have any questions please see Mr Mac. (MacMillan)
