Congratulations to the Hubbard Middle School MATHCOUNTS team consisting of : Benjamin Balog, Landon Brooks, Grayson Cheney, Max Grymberg, Michael Koulianos. Hubbard Middle School was represented both individually and as a team for the MATHCOUNTS Regional Competition competing against other area teams. HMS placed 3rd as a team during the sprint, target and team rounds. HMS also placed in the top 4 teams for the Jeopardy-like game called the Math Bowl. Grayson Cheney placed 3rd as an individual in the countdown head-to-head bracket round. The competition was hosted by the Mahoning Valley Society of Professional Engineers at YSU on February 8, 2024 . The team is coached by Mrs. Congemi and Mrs. Shelby.
