Hubbard High School students raise $600 for local food pantry

Hubbard High School students helped to raise $600 for the First Baptist Church Food Pantry by participating in a holiday-themed week. Hubbard High School’s student council spearheaded the event. To participate, students had to donate a canned food item or a dollar to the pantry. On Monday, staff and students donned flannel. On Tuesday, they wore holiday hats and head wear. On Wednesday, they dressed as their favorite holiday character. Ugly Christmas sweaters took center stage on Thursday, and on Friday, students were encouraged to wear their Christmas pajamas.
