How many ways can you make the number 24? Eleven Hubbard Middle School students participated in the annual Challenge 24 competition at Warren G. Harding High School on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Challenge 24 is a mathematics game in which competitors use multiplication, addition, subtraction and division in various combinations to manipulate four numbers on a card to equal 24 as fast as possible. Team members and alternates consisted of 5th Graders, Logan Cheney, Vincent Milijons, Molly Pierson, 6th graders Colleen Francis, Drake Haun, Scarlett Lopez, Jana Niser and 7th graders Giaviana Conzett,Dominic Martinez, Zachery Maritch,Austin Wilson. 5th Grader, Molly Pierson, placed in the top 16 against over 160 competitors from various Trumbull County schools. Hubbard Middle School's Challenge 24 team is coached by Mrs. Linda Congemi and Mrs. Amy Shelby.
