Logan Grigsby, a student at Hubbard Middle School, has been named the first-place winner in the Trumbull County Bar Association's Law Day contest for grades 7-9. The contest, which is held annually in celebration of Law Week, is open to all Trumbull County schools and invites students to submit entries on a specific topic related to the law.
This year's Law Day subject was "Cornerstones of Democracy: Civics, Civility, and Collaboration." As the first-place winner, Grigsby will be presented with a winner's certificate and a $250 prize at the Law Day Luncheon on Monday, May 1, 2023, at DiLucia's. The event, which is attended by local legal professionals, community leaders, educators and parents, provides an opportunity to celebrate the importance of law and civics education and to recognize outstanding students like Grigsby.
