The English Festival was held on the campus of YSU on April 17, 2024. Seven students participated in the contest. To be eligible to participate, they had to read severn books on their own time and create one page hand written summaries. This made them eligible to participate in the events of the day, which include writing games, trivia, journalism workshops and author symposiums. They got to meet two authors and we had one winner. Caleb Schindell won Honorable Mention for writing games. The seven students were Cora Christoff, Caleb Schindell, Caroline Capuzello, Rosa Gawdyda, Emma Harley, Scout Nicholson and Peter Koulianos.
