Letter from the Superintendent - 1/27/2021

Dear Hubbard Schools families,

As we continue to work toward Governor DeWine’s goal of increasing

the time students learn in-person, our plan is to combine Cohorts A and

Cohorts B, so students receive face-to face instruction at Hubbard

Schools four days a week - Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Wednesdays will continue to be remote learning days for all students.

A specific date to implement this plan is forthcoming, but our goal is

early March.  This time frame allows our staff members the opportunity

to receive their first dose of the COVID vaccine, and to prepare for the

combined Cohorts, so we continue with in-person instruction and

learning under the most seamless and safest conditions possible.

We learned today from the local health department that Trumbull

County school employees are NOT on the list to get vaccinated next

week.  Once we know when Trumbull County school employees will be

vaccinated, we will determine a specific date to implement our plan.

Please know, while we endeavor to keep as many students learning in-

person as possible and to increase that time, we will continue to offer the

full-time remote learning option to families.

As always, we appreciate your patience and flexibility.  We will be in

touch with you in the coming weeks with more specific information. Sincerely,

Mr. Raymond W. Soloman

Superintendent
