School community invited to view "Screenagers: Growing Up in The Digital Age" on Feb. 15

The Hubbard Schools community is cordially invited to attend a special screening of "Screenagers: Growing Up in The Digital Age" at Hubbard Auditorium on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  The documentary explores the impact of screen technology on children and offers parents and families proven solutions that work.


Directed by physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston, "Screenagers" has garnered widespread acclaim, having been screened more than 8,000 times to 4 million people in over 70 countries. The film highlights the struggles faced by families regarding screen time, social media, gaming and internet addiction.


"Screenagers" not only exposes the risks of excessive screen time but also provides insights and strategies from leading experts on how parents and educators can work with children to achieve a healthy balance. Through compelling narratives and cutting-edge science, the film addresses key themes including the use of screens in school, video game addiction, and the impact of social media on adolescents.


Admission is free, and families are encouraged to bring their children.
