Solar eclipse lessons illuminate Hubbard Elementary School’s art room

As the total solar eclipse approaches, Hubbard Schools is integrating lessons about the phenomenon into its classes - extending even into art.

Using black light and glow-in-the-dark neon pastels and paints, students in Megan Marino’s art classes are showcasing their talents by creating colorful pieces depicting the sun and moon. The pieces blend abstract shapes with vibrant colors – symbolizing the interactions during a solar eclipse.
