Two Hubbard High School students named to Tribune Chronicle's 20 under 20 class

It is with great pride that Hubbard High School announces that two of its students, Christina Badurik and Isabella Williams, have been named to the prestigious 2023 Class of Twenty Under 20 by the Tribune Chronicle. This distinguished program, now in its 11th year, is a collaboration between the Tribune Chronicle, Akron Children’s Hospital, and United Way of Trumbull County, recognizing the remarkable leadership, volunteerism, extracurricular involvement, and academic achievements of outstanding individuals under the age of 20.

Out of 54 nominations this year, Christina and Isabella have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to their community and school. This year’s class of 20 includes students from various grade levels, with the winners selected based on a calculation of 50% leadership, 25% academic achievement, and 25% extracurricular activities. The top five winners will have the opportunity to split a $1,000 donation to the local charity of their choice, with one overall winner selected from among the top five. The names of these winners will be unveiled during a special dinner on December 6, 2023, at DiVieste’s.

“Christina and Isabella have shown exemplary dedication and leadership, making Hubbard Schools and the entire community proud. Their inclusion in the 2023 Class of Twenty Under 20 is a testament to their unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the world around them,” said Hubbard Superintendent Raymond Soloman.
