Hubbard High School senior Isabella Williams was recently invited to present at the Youngstown State University Community Engagement Symposium, where she shared the story behind a project close to her heart — Shoot for a Change.
For the past three years, Isabella has organized this annual charity basketball game at Hubbard High School, raising funds for Potential Development, a school in Youngstown dedicated to educating students with autism. What began as a small idea has grown into a tradition that unites the school and community in support of a meaningful cause. To date, Isabella has raised more than $12,000 through the event.
